The problem
The underlying dataset was public, rigorous and completely ignored. A line going up and to the right convinces nobody who is not already convinced.
The approach
We anchored every measurement to one harbour wall photographed in the same spot each decade, and let the reader scroll the water up it.
What happened
Average read time of 6m 40s on a piece with no video. Picked up by three national outlets and a school curriculum.
